The bottom line, it is a great lecture; I really
enjoyed it, thanks!

Whatever is said, Valeri is a very talented up
and coming player who im sure will go on to be a
very strong GM someday. I myself, Enjoy his
lectures and think those that would prefer to
moan and whine should stick to trying to improve
there own game and appreciate the hardwork and
effort put into these lectures in the 1st place.
Keep up the good work

responding to

well now i know its not just my imagination,
scrolling back a few videos, i have also seen
complaints about "overboardness" of the amount of
explainations this lecturer gives. im not so much
knocking his accent as into the amount of
unnecessary vocabilisation of his explainations .
apologies for the spelling, u get my drift

Well for one thing chess is a game that is played
all over the world and your going to have to
learn to listen more carefully to what he says
because he does pernounce some words funny but id
like to see you try and speak Russian. And #2
players of all strength watch these lectures and
the lower rated players can appreciate
annotations to even simple moves.

I wonder why this lecture is rated "Intermediate,
Advanced". Pushing the pawns towards the
opponent's king in opposite castling positions is
not a particularly "advanced" idea, is it ? Yet
it's the main idea of the lecture...
Regularly you can find some funny truisms in
Valeri's lectures, like once other
lectures : "the king is in check and he can't
move, so he's mate" or "the knight is pinned, so
he can't move", I'm not quoting exactly, but it
was something like that... it made me laugh for
weeks :)
