What's Inside?

ChessLecture.com is one of the largest chess video libraries in the world. We release a new video in our library every day, Monday thru Friday. The video library currently has 3,043 videos available for online and iPhone viewing.

If you have a connection to the Internet, you can watch our videos! Our video library works on Windows, Macintosh, Linux, iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets.

After becoming a member you will have full, unlimited access to every video in our library and any future videos we produce. You can watch every video as often as you like at any time of the day or night.

Video Categories
All of our videos are placed into nine different categories.

Dive into our video library of opening analysis. Openings of all kinds for both sides.

Perhaps the most important part of the game. You must be strong in the middlegame.

You may have a good edge in the opening, but without an endgame plan you'll struggle.

Learn the essential tactics of chess that will improve your game.

Looking to surprise your opponent? Put some of these into your arsenal.

Short video lectures to keep your coffee warm and your brain in high gear!

Awesome strategy for players who enjoy the deeper analysis and tough thinking.

Learning and sharpening your tactics in chess is a key component to being a stronger player.

Games from some of the top players in the world, past and present, are regularly annotated via video.

Video Skill Levels

We have created four different skill levels for each video within our library. All of our videos are placed into at least one of these levels. Some of our lectures cover two skill levels and are marked accordingly.

  • Novice: 0 - 1199 rated
  • Beginner: 1200 - 1499 rated
  • Intermediate: 1500 - 1799 rated
  • Advanced: 1800 - higher rated
We have found that most of our users benefit from all the different skill levels. Everyone learns at a different pace. You can pick and choose which skill levels are most comfortable for you.
There are several fantastic features in the members area that will help you get the most out of our site.
    Suggestion Box
It is important to us that our members have the ability to send suggestions to our team of masters. Perhaps you have a particular opening that you'd like to know more about or a pet line that you would like more details on. Our suggestion box is just for this purpose. Once one of our masters receives a suggestion from a member the master evaluates it to make sure that he or she can do the lecture. If so, then they are happy to produce a new video on your topic. If you choose to become a member we strongly suggest that you take advantage of this feature. It will help you get more out of the game and more out of your membership with us.

    Mark Your Favorites
In the members area you can place videos into your favorites folder. This way you can come back to them anytime you like.

    Post Your Comments
In the members area you post comments to each video, share comments with others, and even reply to other people.

    Rate Videos
After you have watched a video you can rate the video using our 5-star rating system.
